OTA Ventures is a combination of bootstrapped and angel funded companies that are synergistic in their focus and that leverage common infrastructure, both physical and intellectual.

We are part technology incubator; in that we provide space, support services and mentoring for our portfolio companies. We are part angel investor; as we can and do provide seed funding for our portfolio companies. We are part managers; we are active in the managing of our portfolio companies especially when it comes to marketing, positioning and assisting them getting their first customers.

Having our roots in telecom and wireless, and being located in one of the world’s most recognized centers for telecommunications, most of our portfolio companies have been focused around telecom. We are increasingly looking at how the wired world intersects with the wireless world, the technologies that make that possible and the new opportunities that creates for applications such as real-time proximity based marketing.
